Life on Earth is dynamic and everchanging as its members live and die, as the winds and waters circulate life-materials around the globe. The planet itself is filled with processes, all of which affect living organisms, and some of which are created by living organisms.
The Processes of the Biosphere are so enormous and complex that we can grasp them more easily as six kinds of processes. But remember, these processes are tightly coupled, and profoundly influence each other.
